Essence of an Artist: A documentary that mirrors the book.

Welcome to my studio in Hell’s Kitchen. The building had a problem so I had to move from Tribeca. Change is always good I say. To my surprise when I got off the subway at W 50th St. to see my new studio in Hell's Kitchen, there in front of me is Alice in Wonderland tiles in the subway station! Good things to come and they did! My first thought was: How can I share this great space? Process using negatives and cameras. A Tiny Voice  a documentary of a 100 year old artist by Loren.

 In 1989, I named my NYC/ Florida series Atlantis, the forgotten underwater city. Plato is the only one found in antient texts that wrote about Atlantis to date. Plato wrote fiction fused with real events. So no one believed Atlantis Existed. Plato wrote Atlantis DID exist. Plato never called Atlantis a utopia. They had an army and elephants too.  Plato warns us the lack of humility, pompous attitude of the Atlanteans, brought them to their demise. “Do not focus on your ego,and you will discover your soul” Tao Te Ching Plato teaches that we do not die, our Consciousness lives on. Consciousness is creativity. Plato also teaches that we're here to learn to focus on love, harmony and intelligence as a free Society of individuals exercising free choice. 

The Nature bubble I love to garden, nurturing the trees and plants to grow make me smile. When my hands are in the dirt I feel tranquility, earth's vibrations that awakened my creative energy. The Tao guides us to nature.
